Mike Santora is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who served with Third Battalion, Second Marines. As an infantryman, he expanded his medical training into Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Combat Life Saver. After 6 years of active duty service and multiple deployments, he transitioned to civilian life and moved back to his home town in Northe
Mike Santora is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who served with Third Battalion, Second Marines. As an infantryman, he expanded his medical training into Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Combat Life Saver. After 6 years of active duty service and multiple deployments, he transitioned to civilian life and moved back to his home town in Northeastern PA. There he works as a full time Emergency Medical Services Practitioner. Through his experiences he has seen the impact of how quickly your life can change, and how different the outcome may have been if more people were trained to act sooner. His love of community and dedication to preserving life inspired him to start CRT in an effort to reduce preventable death from injuries.

Our name “Crucible“ draws its meaning from our start in the military. “The Crucible“ is in reference to the final test of strength and character each recruit must endure to earn the title of United States Marine. This dedication to duty and unwavering commitment to others guides our purpose to train and teach everyday citizens to be prepared for the day when their “crucible” occurs. For many years it was believed that only military and first responders were subject to training for the life threatening injuries we're referring to. Not anymore. Our company name is symbolic of our effort to bridge the gap between those groups. No matter where you come from or what you do, having confidence you can help save the life of a loved one, fellow citizen, or even your own is invaluable.
